Amir was a talented musician, loved and cared for all humans regardless of their beliefs, race, age and background and was a huge supporter of natural and environmental values. He was fluent in 5 languages and held weekly language meetups across Lower Mainland, providing a warm atmosphere for people to learn while making new friends. His sense of humour was people's favorite trait of him.
While on a mission with BC Wildfire Services in May 2019, Amir and his team were performing aerial mapping of underground fires in Northern BC where Amir lost his life in a tragic aviation accident.
In light of keeping Amir’s legacy alive, the Sedghi family has established a foundation in Amir’s name to provide grants and financial assistance for educational purposes for children and adults with financial challenges in specific fields that Amir was passionate about:
Environment, Climate change, Arts/Music, Cultural Communications/Languages.
Your donation and givings will help a student to pursue humanity’s fight against climate change and to pursue their passion of growth through music and languages.
